Literacy Valentine Activities
Make a fine motor valentine craft with pony beads, letter beads, and pipe cleaners. My students have loved making this, so I think you should definitely add it to your list of valentine activities for preschoolers!

It’s hard to narrow it down, but I think our two favorites are the dice games and the super simple “broken heart” numbers.
Valentine’s Day Snack for Preschoolers
Bake some heart-shaped brownies with the children, and then get the kids to help set up a you’ve been hugged valentine surprise It’s such fun to watch the children determine who should get the special delivery.
Make a special treat with marshmallows and colorful sprinkles. This is a very basic “cooking” activity that my son and his friends loved. Integrate literacy with a written “recipe”, while math can be practiced while counting and measuring.
Science Valentine Activities for Preschoolers
Valentine’s Day provides a lot of opportunities for your little scientists!

Valentine’s Day Sensory Activities
These heart glitter jars are one of my favorite valentine activities for preschoolers! You just need a few ingredients to make them, and almost any kind of heart glitter will do.
Make a simple valentine sensory bin with your students. You only need water beads and a few other simple materials.
Use those same water beads to make an easy, and engaging, Valentine’s Day sensory bottle for your students.
Put together even more valentine sensory bottles with the children.
Break out the conversation hearts for a candy heart breaking fine motor activity! It was such fun to watch the children break up those candy hearts!

Valentine’s Day Art and Crafts
This heart print art is probably my favorite valentine art project for preschoolers. The children loved making the prints and displaying them around the classroom.
A valentine hand print craftcan be fun to make, and the kids love giving them as gifts to their families.
Let the children create their own Valentine’s Day craft with tissue paper and oil pastels. Then sit back and watch as those kids get creative.
The holiday wouldn’t be complete without the exchange of valentines in the classroom! The students can make their very own paper plate valentines holder with this easy craft.
Make some straw art with the kids as part of your valentine activities for preschoolers. You can use the straws to create heart stamps, or you and the kids can treat the straw pieces as loose parts to create with.
